In under 4 hours, we'll turn Memory into your Actor Superpower
You'll learn Memory Techniques for Scenes, Monologues, Lyrics, Set Lists, and make sure you never forget a Name, or a Face, again.
Taught by two Broadway artists who are also master practitioners of trained memory, and who have trained Tier 1 special forces, Grammy award winners, stars of stage and screen, NFL players, and CEOs, using an Ancient Memory System.
You DON'T have a Bad memory! You simply have an untrained one.
How will it work?
Actors are like peak performance athletes.
We are asked to perform, with virtuosity and consistency, 8x per week. You have probably spent your entire life training to be able to do just that.
Your Voice.
Your Body.
And Memory is at the heart of everything we do.
We are expected to memorize vast amounts of material rapidly and to deliver it without fail. But when it comes to how to Memorize... were all told to "just figure it out".
Brute Force. Read it 200 times.
But Trained Memory Technique has actually already existed for over 2,500 years.
It began in Ancient Greece alongside the invention of Theatre. For thousands of years it was the primary way that actors, bards, and poets memorized their material rapidly, easily, in a way that is rock solid.
World class Memory Training is completely missing from contemporary professional actor training.
In this one-day experience - Broadway Artists, and Trained Memory experts, Arielle Jacobs and J.J. Caruncho are aiming to fix that.
Go from "What's my line?" to
Confident Performance
Before:
-
“I’m bad with names, but good with faces”
You’ve already accepted that you’re going to forget everyone’s name you meet, and you think that’s the way it has to be. - "I heard their Name, but forgot it 10 seconds later…."
You're sick of feeling embarrassed, or worried of hurting their feelings. You don't understand why your brain tends to forget everyone's name right after hearing it. - "Oh my gosh, I didn’t hear them say their Name at All…."
You're introduced to someone. You exchange pleasantries and move straight into talking. Then it hits you: you never actually registered their name in the first place.
- "I don’t remember ever having met this person…"
Someone approaches you with a huge smile: “Oh my gosh, hey!” They're clearly delighted to see you. There's just one problem… You have no idea who they are, or where you've met this person. - "I recognize their Face, but I can’t remember their Name…"
You're thinking about someone you used to know. You can picture them... but their name is forgotten. Then someone says it, and suddenly everything clicks: “YES! That's it!” - "I already forgot their name and now I’m too embarrassed to ask what it is again…"
You've just met someone and they told you their name. But a second later, you don’t remember it, and now you don’t know how to get it again without being “weird” or making them feel bad. Now you want to disappear, or avoid introducing them to someone else, just to avoid the awkwardness.
After:
-
You feel confident that you can, and will, remember as many names and faces as you want, because you’re applying the techniques you learned in this one day workshop. You experience a new sense of confidence and relief whenever you meet people, because you trust that your memory will not fail you this time… so you can focus on the person in front of you instead of being distracted by your blank mind.
- You understand why you used to forget everybody's name! You learned the neuroscience behind why the brain has the hardest time remembering Names (more than anything else), and practiced the step-by-step process to never forget a name again (you learned these in Lesson 2 & Lesson 4).
- You never again forget a name right after hearing it, because you've learned the “Rules of Linking” and the "Echo & Bridge" Conversational Chess Strategies to keep your connection flowing and conversation going (you learned these in Lesson 6 & Lesson 7).
- When someone walks up to you, you instantly remember their name when you see their face, because you learned the 'Photographic Vision’ technique and you’ve practiced “Caricature Thinking”. Now, you can greet others with matched enthusiasm, because you remember exactly who they are, and how you know them. (you learned these in Lesson 5 and Lesson 6).
- When you think of someone from your past, their name is obvious and clear in your mind, because you know how to do Long-Term memory techniques that ensure a Name can be recalled in your mind for days, weeks or even years. (you learned this in Lesson 9).
- You know 3 variations to confidently ask someone their name again, in a way that makes them feel “seen” instead of unimportant. You feel confident in regaining your composure and connection when you accidentally missed hearing a name, or accidentally forgot one you previously encoded to memory. (You learned this in Lesson 8).

+ The Curriculum +
Part 1: The Origins of the Mind Palace
LESSON 1: THE FOUNDATION
You might be asking "If these techiques are so powerful, why isn't everyone doing this?"
We will begin with a brief lesson on why these Ancient memory techniques stopped being taught (it is very silly) - & how their being mythologized in the stories of Sherlock Holmes and his Mind Palace led to their rediscovery.
Learn when this ancient memory technique was created, why it was Lost over the centuries (which explains why you were never taught Memory skills in school) and how the books about Sherlock Holmes brought it back to public consciousness so you can learn it today.
Part 2: Memorizing Scripts, Lyrics, Set Lists, etc.
LESSONS 2-4: THE MEMORY PALACE TECHNIQUES FOR ACTING
Lesson 2 - The Rules of Linking
If you think you know someone’s name but it keeps slipping out of your mind– it’s because you need to strengthen your ability to LINK them together in your mind. This skillset cements the Name & Face together so someone’s face will actually ‘give’ you their name! (and the Rules of Linking might surprise you)
Lesson 3 - Building Your Mind Palace
You’ll learn the Mind Palace technique that Sherlock talks about (actually called a "Memory Palace"). We will help you build your first Memory Palace, we'll apply it to a Poem, and we'll show you Arielle's Memory Journal so you can see how she has applied this most recently.
Lesson 4 - Memorizing Dialogue versus Monologues, Scripts, Lyrics and more
You’ll learn the Story Looping technique that J.J. Caruncho has created so you can memorize dialogue, and blocking. And you'll learn how to use your mind palace to memorize scripts, monologues, lyrics, and set lists, with rock solid confidence.
Part 3: Remembering Names and Faces
LESSON 5: REMEMBER EVERYONE YOU WORK WITH
Lesson 5 - Memorizing Names and Faces
You’ll learn the most powerful method for remembering the names and faces of the people you work with—onstage and offstage—along with where you met, what they do, and the connection you shared, so your professional relationships can grow long after the show ends.

We can't wait to meet you...
Never go into the "white room" ever again. And feel the confidence of knowing your lines, plus the names and face of everyone you meet.
By the end of this workshop:
-
Instead of thinking “I am good with faces but bad with names,” you will begin to treat Name Memory as a social superpower and know exactly what to do when you choose to encode a name.
-
Instead of wondering whether you can really apply the system, you will leave having successfully remembered 10-40 names during the workshop itself.
-
Instead of forgetting a name 10 seconds after hearing it, you will know the exact memory techniques to hold onto it.
-
Instead of worrying that a face will not trigger the name weeks later, you will know how to use the LINK process to connect the face and name.
-
Instead of worrying that you will forget the workshop itself, you will encode the skillset through the Memory Palace Interface and Rapid Skill Acquisition process so you can remember these skills exactly when you need to use them.
-
Instead of dreading introductions, you will use the Echo & Bridge Conversational Algorithm to create time, reduce social pressure, and apply the technique with greater confidence.
-
Instead of forgetting new names by the next morning, you will learn Long-Term Memory Protocols to reinforce names for future recall, so you can remember names days, weeks, or years later.
- For students who want to remember more than someone's Name: VIP students will get advanced strategies such as remembering other useful information, like someone's career, spouse's name, kids' names, and more.
If you're on the fence...
have no fear. Name Memory is here.
Do I need to be good at memory techniques already?
What if I've always been terrible at remembering names?
Will I get to practice, or is this just a lecture?
Is this only useful for networking or meeting large groups of people?
